Nobody hauls for you on trust alone.
Carriers on Haulor are checked for who they are, the authority and documents they hold and the fleet they run — reviewed by our team — and a risk engine keeps watching the moments that matter after they’re approved.

Five checks. One clear picture.
Each layer looks at something different. Together they turn “I think they’re legit” into a record you can point to.
-
LAYER 01
A real person behind the account
Carriers confirm who they are with a government ID — driver’s licence, passport or provincial ID — and a selfie, after giving consent. A declined or unclear result goes to our review team; Haulor never auto-rejects a carrier.
-
LAYER 02
Authority and paperwork, read by people
We collect the carrier’s operating-authority numbers — CVOR and NSC in Canada, USDOT and MC in the U.S. — and check their format. Their CVOR, NSC and insurance certificates are reviewed by our team before the carrier is approved.
-
LAYER 03
The trucks and drivers, not just the company
Fleets add each truck with its registration, inspection, insurance and CVOR documents and their expiry dates, and each driver with their licence details. Our team approves them one by one — and a daily check sends a truck back to review the day one of its documents expires.
-
LAYER 04
The patterns behind double-brokering
A risk engine scores sign-ups, contact reveals, load acceptance and payouts. Shared phones, devices or payout accounts, more loads than a fleet can run and impossible travel are flagged. Risky actions can be blocked or require extra verification, and flagged cases go to a person for review.
-
LAYER 05
One last check at pickup
Drivers check in from the Haulor app. We confirm on our servers that they’re within 400 m of the pickup and that they’re the driver assigned to the load. A mismatch — the wrong driver, the wrong place, or one driver checking in for several carriers — is flagged for review, and every check-in joins the load’s chain of custody.
Fast for carriers. Secure for you.
Speed and scrutiny aren’t a trade-off — one flow, one standard.
-
01
Verify the person
Government ID and a selfie, with the carrier’s consent collected before the check opens.
-
02
No more chasing
Carriers enter their details and upload their documents themselves — no email chains, no phone tag.
-
03
People make the call
Our review team approves carriers, trucks and drivers — and every decision is logged.
-
04
Both sides of the border
Canada and the U.S. — the same identity check, with the authority numbers each country uses.
Approval is where most vetting ends. It’s not where Haulor stops.
The checks keep running at the moments that carry risk — so trust holds, load after load.
-
01
Checks at every hand-off
Contact reveals, load acceptance and payouts are scored as they happen — not just on the day a carrier signed up.
-
02
Expired paperwork, caught
When a truck’s document passes its expiry date, the truck goes back into review and the owner is told the same day.
-
03
Ahead of the exposure
Accounts that share phones, devices or payout details are linked and flagged; confirmed fraud freezes the account.
Verified at pickup, watched down the road.
Verification gets the right carrier on the load. Live location, geofenced stops and a logged chain of custody help keep it that way.
-
01
Live GPS tracking
Position from the driver’s Haulor app, shared once the driver consents to tracking.
-
02
Geofenced stops
Arriving at pickup and leaving the delivery stop are recorded automatically by geofence.
-
03
Right driver on the load
Check-ins that don’t match the assigned driver land in the dispatcher’s flagged-loads queue.
-
04
Signed proof of delivery
Carrier and consignee signatures, with an optional photo, captured at delivery and kept with the load.
-
05
Scanned uploads
Every uploaded document is held in quarantine and scanned for malware before it’s stored.
-
06
Audit trail
Check-ins, review decisions and cleared flags are timestamped and attributed.
